Zincworks is a new company, based in the heart of Devon, who design and build a unique range of zinc and copper roofed garden rooms.

Their rooms range from the classic to the contemporary and feature a host of locally sourced and renewable materials.

Each room is handcrafted in response to the individual needs of their clients and can be tailored to suit any budget.  An easy-to-use price comparison guide, allows their clients to make informed choices about their structure according to their requirements.

Amongst the abundant variety of cladding options available are the choice of English or Canadian red cedar shingles, larch scalloped shingles, and zinc and copper diamond shingles.  Choices of posts vary from softwood tanalised timbers, through to oak.  Other options include wooden or metal balustrade, decorative wooden cornices, portholes, lighting and wood burners.

Life Expectancy

With a life expectancy of over one hundred years, zinc and copper roofs make for a unique and distinctive finish, in addition to providing durability.  Clients also have the added benefit of being able to choose from different finishes.  These finishes range from bright/natural zinc, which will weather down over time, to pre-weathered zinc that will remain the same throughout the life of the metal.  In addition to these traditional shades, some zinc is available in a variety of organic hues and modern, pressed textures.  Similarly, copper can be sourced in different stages of oxidization to suit individual tastes.
